I am a Biology tutor with years of experience teaching students, which I began doing in high school. I spent three years working with the same little girl throughout her elementary school career, and helped her with various subjects as well as volunteered in her classroom. I am from Alaska, but I moved almost 4,000 miles away from home after graduation to attend Oberlin College. While there, I pursued a degree in Biology and Neuroscience. I completed the Liberal Arts curriculum as well as the Pre-Med requirements, and was employed with many different tutoring services around the Oberlin area. I have experience working with people from elementary school age to grown adults, and have been employed as a GED instructor. I also have a plethora of experience working as a Teacher's Assistant for subjects such as Biology and Abnormal Psychology. I helped grade papers, prepared worksheets, and held office hours for students wanting additional assistance. In my free time, I helped run a research lab and practiced acrobatics. I was employed as a research assistant for almost two years, and I oversaw a variety of research projects. Upon graduation, I have been taking care of my grandmother as well as pursuing my passion for acrobatics.
