Experience as a Substitute Teacher Currently a Private Tutor in Reston Experience with both Montessori Methods and Charlotte Mason Former Prosecutor in Washington, D.C. I am passionate about education and believe that my experience, personality, natural curiosity and patience are valuable skills necessary for teaching children. To reach students, the teacher must make the material come alive to them; to be relevant to their own experiences. From my personal experience I realize that not all students learn in the same way or at the same speed. I believe it is the teacher’s responsibility to connect with each student; to discover the method by which learning for that individual would best be achieved.
